A leading and reputed bank in the UAE is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the development of a new digital banking platform built on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
The role will focus on building and managing secure, reliable and scalable cloud infrastructure while working closely with development and infrastructure teams to support the successful delivery of the digital banking platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and manage Azure/AKS infrastructure, including networking, namespaces, ingress and security.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes, Kafka and PostgreSQL, including migration activities.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Kubernetes-based runners.
- Implement monitoring, logging and observability using Grafana, Kibana or equivalent tools.
- Manage cloud networking including VNets, private endpoints, VPNs, NAT gateways and API gateways.
- Manage secrets and access using Azure Key Vault.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
- Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, reliable and scalable integrations..
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure AKS.
- Experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL, including deployment and migrations.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud, networking and CI/CD.
- Experience with Grafana, Kibana or similar observability platforms.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Linux and scripting.
- Understanding of security, access control and secrets management.
- Experience in banking, fintech or other regulated environments would be an advantage
